Coupling grip collar The Grip collars are fixed outside of the shielded couplings. They can strengthen the pressure which pipes bear. The dimensions can be from DN50-DN300. The bear pressure DN50-DN100 10 bar, DN150 -DN200 5bar, DN250-DN300 3bar.It's designed to over-clamp a standard EN 877 ductile iron or stainless steel mechanical coupling that provides 5 bar accidental static water pressure unrestrained and up to 10 bar fully restrained depending on the diameter and coupling type. The grip collar can be positioned during the first install at pressure sensitive points in the sanitary or Rainwater System or can be retro-fitted at a later stage
